Created for MOJO Ad Spring 2024

At the beginning of our semester with MOJO Ad, we were tasked with naming our team and developing a logo and visual identity for our team. With our assigned topic of entertainment in mind, encore was a word that we kept coming back to in our team discussions. We chose our team name because we believe that our protagonist, the YAYA audience, deserves another go. Across many industries and in homes everywhere, YAYAs are being written off as lazy, uninspired and pessimistic. We're here to give them their encore and the full attention they deserve as we learn about their everyday lives and behaviors. For the members of Team Encore, this is also our encore, a nod to the final semester of our time at Mizzou. We feel we have created an ending to our time here that's anything but stale.

Logo & inspiration

We were inspired by vintage Hollywood when we were crafting the visuals for Encore. We wanted to combine callbacks to the past with the forward-thinking energy that YAYAs bring to the table. We chose a classic script font and coupled it with a modern serif font and a bold red color to show that fusion of nostalgia and innovation.

Social Media Executions

As the art director for team encore, once I established our visual identity, I worked closely with our videographer/photographer to brainstorm our team photoshoot and execute the vision I had in mind. We took our photos at a local movie theater in Columbia to fit the vintage movie aesthetic we were striving to achieve.
